This is a collaborative installation with Rebecca Kent. We projected footage of people and bodies overlayed with nature and the landscape onto my seed pods, lighting them up with slow films, barely moving, as if the pods were gradually coming to life. Rebecca created an audio piece, which she describes as ‘a collaboration between the human voice and the landscape.’ The room became the womb of the earth, and viewers were invited to be immersed in the pregnant energy of the room, held in suspense for the seeds to break open and shoot.
