in this project, I was exploring the building blocks of human life, looking at the atoms of our physical form, and where the individual elements originated.

To begin this line of enquiry I remained with the chemical make up of people. Everything on Earth is made up of stardust, from the natural to man-made. Atoms could have started their lifetimes spread across hundreds of galaxies, but they somehow found their way together at the right time in a completely unique way, to create me! “Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics. You’re all stardust” (Lawrence Krauss 2012) thinking about this I wanted to put myself back into the setting of space, re-disperse my atoms into the vastness of the universe.
